The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Region IV-A (Calabarzon) recognized the Laguna State Polytechnic University (LSPU) as one of its distinguished partners during its 60th Anniversary Celebration at the Lima Park Hotel, Malvar, Batangas, Nov. 17.
Dr. Mario R. Briones, University President, received the plaque for LSPU from Hon. Emelita P. Bagsit, Regional Director of DOST IV-A.
The LSPU was recognized for its “outstanding dedication, collaboration, and support in advancing Science and Technology in the Calabarzon Region.”
The LSPU and DOST have been long-time collaborators when it comes to research and innovation initiatives, projects, and programs for the improved quality of life of the community, especially those in Laguna and neighboring provinces.

San Pablo City Campus ranks 6th in Criminologist Licensure Examination
Laguna State Polytechnic University - San Pablo City Campus ranked 6th in the Criminologist Licensure Examination administered in December 2018. LSPU undergoes ISO Surveillance Audit for certificate renewal
The Laguna State Polytechnic University submitted the institution to Surveillance Audit for the renewal of the ISO 9001:2015 certification, Oct. 7-8. The four campuses of the University that underwent the surveillance audit were Sta. Cruz (Main) Campus, Siniloan (Host) Campus, San Pablo City Campus, and Los Baños Campus.
