Sumungkit ng gintong medalya sa mga pambansa at panrehiyong kompetisyon ang mga miyembro ng Technology Advocate na sina John Kirby Dinglasan, Chief Photojournalist, at Andrea Nicole Aspa, Chief Artist.
Pinagharian ni Dinglasan ang isinagawang pambansang patimpalak sa pagkuha ng larawan sa State University and Colleges Fair 2022 sa kategorya ng inobasyon na may temang “Promoting Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Culture and Arts for National Development and Global Competitiveness,” Hunyo 28 - Hulyo 1.
“Noong first two days, medyo ‘di ako kampante sa shots ko since ‘di ganon kaganda. Hirap na hirap ako kumuha at ‘di ko kasi gamay yung topic. Then last day na ng pasahan, nakatiyempo ng astig na set-up, eh ‘di ayun ‘di ko tinigilan hangga’t ‘di ko pa nagugustuhan [ang] mga angguluhan,” aniya.
“Noong ini-announce na yung first place, syempre sobrang saya, hindi ko in-expect na sa lahat-lahat ng region sa Pinas, ako ang mangunguna. Hindi ko na nga namalayan na naakyat ako ng stage. First national competition, champion agad. Hindi ko talaga ma-express [ang] nararamdaman ko. Pina-process ko pa rin hanggang ngayon,” dagdag pa niya.
Hindi naman nagpahuli si Aspa matapos selyuhan ang kampeonato sa Digital Poster Making ng Panrehiyong Tertulyang Pampanitikan sa pangunguna ng Sentro ng Wika at Kultura ng Pambansang Pamantasan ng Batangas na may temang “Muling Pagtuklas sa Karunungang-Bayan,” Abril 8.
“Hindi naman mangyayari 'yun kung wala ang mga taong sumuporta sa'kin especially si Prof. Carada. Siya talaga [ang] nag-push and nagpapasalamat ako kasi kahit sa huling year ko sa college ay naka-experience pa ako ng ganito which is talagang fulfilling din,” saad niya.
“Mas maganda nang sumubok kahit ‘di sigurado, kaysa mag-alangan ka tapos magsisisi sa huli,” paliwanag pa niya.
Si G. John Vincent Aliazas ang nagsilbing tagapagsanay ni Dinglasan samanatalang si Dr. Imelda Carada naman para kay Aspa.
