After three months of holding the Strategic Planning for 2019-2023, the Administrative Council members conducted the 1st Campus Development Planning for 2020-2025 at the Function Halls of Siniloan and San Pablo City Campuses, December 4-5, 2019 respectively.
During the opening program, Dr. Eden C. Callo, Vice President for Academic Affairs shared the latest awards received by the University from different organizations, encouraged the participants to produce quality alumni, advised them to frame a student program that focuses on student activities and be productive during the development planning. Dr. Corazon San Agustin, Vice President for Research and Development talked about the success of different state universities in Research and community involvement due to excellent campus development planning. She invited the improvement of RDE projects through the help of officials and recommended a digital ecosystem for quality and excellent services to LSPU stakeholders. Likewise, Engr. Beltran P. Pedrigal, Vice President for Administration and Chief Administrative explained the essence of campus development planning and reminded the body to identify the needs of each campus.
Mr. Adriel G. Roman, Planning and Development OIC-Director identified the rationale of the two-day seminar-workshop, presented the previous five years’ data from each unit and college, and then explained the present development planning procedures. The concern deans and directors presented the data asked by the Planning Office and reported the latest development in their offices. The actual projection of plans took place on the second day of the seminar. After the projection, the Planning and MIS drafted the campus development plan which was presented on the second day (N. Dimaculangan).
