MARCH 16, 2015 – Seasoned broadcast journalist and talk show host Mrs. Korina Sanchez-Roxas, best known for her stint in TV Patrol and Rated K of ABS-CBN, visited LSPU-Santa Cruz Campus for an afternoon of inspirational talk about her “5 Secrets to Success.”
The crowd from the University Multi-Purpose Gymnasium and Hall listened closely as the Kapamilya host enumerated her personal list, starting off with having a dream to pursue and to live on. Then, she also emphasized loving and serving one’s parents as they were behind somebody’s good foundation. Third, she noted how diligent and hard working individuals outwit the intelligent ones by being simple and meek in doing their assigned tasks. Next was for everyone to plan right away, set in their minds what they wish to do or to have in the near or far future, and lastly was to pray and have faith in God as He makes all other things possible.
LSPU students, faculty and staff took turns in sharing a selfie and photo op with her. Finally, she also met student leaders at the University Call Center wherein she discussed further the developmental aims of her Facebook group “Tropa ni Korina Sanchez Roxas.”
