Fourth year students of the College of Teacher Education (CTE) underwent distinct Skills
Training (EST) and Employability Skills Training Program (ESTP) at LSPU Science Building,
Mini Theatre, and Accreditation Center – Siniloan Campus, September 16 – 18, 2017.
The three-day training program was initiated by the International and Local Affairs Unit,
headed by Mrs. Sandra P. Mesina, and coordinated by Mrs. Mercedita O. Alberto in partnership
with the WorldWideLink Educational Development (WED) Inc.
For the English Skills Training, the students were provided with vocal enrichment activi
ties to enhance their speaking skills as well as the proper pronunciation of words, mostly those
that Filipinos tend to mispronounce. Add up to the training are job-related skills such as person
ality development, resume writing, phone etiquette, and job interview. This training provides
LSPU graduates with the primary soft-skills needed for the real world of work.

Manto Ranks 4th in April 2023 ECT Licensure Examination
Jane Mikee Besilos Manto, a 23-year-old graduate of the Laguna State Polytechnic University San Pablo City Campus under the Electronics Engineering program, achieved the 4th top spot in the 2023 Electronics Technician (ECT) Licensure Examination, April 21.
