DILIMAN, QUEZON CITY—Presidents of State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) were urged to further level up their institution’s status, May 22.
Commissioner Lilian A. De Las Llagas of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) told the presidents how she wanted her SUCs to excel as Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).
On the one-day meeting, Commissioner Llagas also pointed out the importance of the efficiency of the Board of Regent Secretary, specifically how the performance of the secretary is reflective of the president and the university.
She also provided guidelines on the enhanced preparation of documentations, particularly in the making of agenda, minutes of the meeting, and resolutions.
