Ka-Piyu, it’s dry season again. The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) is reminding us about the widespread drought in some parts of our country caused by El Niño.
One of its effects is the limited water supply. This is why the Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (UDRRMO) of the Laguna State Polytechnic University (LSPU) is encouraging all of us to take part in conserving water.
Here are some reminders from our UDRRMO on what to do this dry season:
1. Stay cool and hydrated.
2. Wear light clothes.
3. Do not open windows that are directly facing sunlight.
4. Avoid heavy physical activities.
Stay informed and stay safe Ka-Piyu.
