Home/ News & Articles/ 40 Student Teachers Completed Student Teaching in Vietnam, AY 2016-2017
On May 16, 2016, there were 12 Student-teachers sent to Thai Nguyen University for a five-month student teaching that lasted until November 2017. Moreover, on No-vember 2017, there were addition-al 26 Student –teachers who also underwent five-month student teaching. These student teachers form part of CHED’s Student Intern-ship Abroad Program (SIAP) partic-ipated by Laguna State Polytechnic University since 2012.
Prior to student teaching in Vietnam, these students underwent evaluation through scrutinized re-sume and video interviews by LSPU teachers and TNU coordinators from the International Development and Training Center.
The 12 students who are members of the first batch are the following: ALVAREZ JOHN CARLOS MENDOZA, FERNANDEZ JERWIN MAYANI, CORACERO RHONA MAE MONTEAGUDO, YOSOLON, ALYSSA JOYCE PALACOL, CATAQUIZ ANGELA CAMPOS, TULIO RAYNE CAROLLE NORIEL, DURAN JOEREN MATEO, DUNGO JOHN MIGUEL EVANGELISTA, CONSTANTINO RIZ MAE ARAS, MORTEL CHESKA ARTIL-LAGA, PASCO ERNNA CLAIRE, GUTIERREZ GIANNE AUDREY TOLENTINO.
Moreover, LSPU is also able to send two student teachers to its partner university in the south of Vietnam during the First Semester, Mien Tay Construction University. These students are: COSICO MERIENOR AQUINO, and PUNZALAN, PRINCESS PAULINE GONZALES.
On the other hand, the 26 stu-dent teachers from the second batch are as follows:
