Dr. Michelle B. Sarmiento, Executive Assistant to the University President, was awarded a Plaque of Recognition for Exceptional Service for her service as the Interim Board Secretary of the Laguna State Polytechnic University (LSPU) Board of Regents (BOR) at the Board Room of LSPU-Siniloan Campus, Dec. 1.
“We recognize that your role extends far beyond mere administrative duties,” the citation reads. “Your role has been pivotal in ensuring that the governance of our university remains steadfast, transparent, and effective.”
The said plaque was awarded to Dr. Sarmiento during the 3rd Quarter Regular Meeting of the LSPU BOR, signed by the highest Governing Board of LSPU: Dr. J. Prospero E. De Vera III, CHED Chairperson and Chair of the LSPU BOR; Dr. Mario R. Briones, University President and Vice-Chair of LSPU BOR; Atty. Roy Ricafort Rebanal, representative of Sen. Francis Escudero; Cong. Ruth Mariano-Hernandez, representative of Cong. Mark Go; Agnes E. Tolentino, Regional Director of NEDA IV-A; Emelita P. Bagsit, Regional Director of DOST IV-A; Dr. Chester Alexis Buama, Faculty Regent; Julian A. Lapitan and Evelia V. Religioso, Private Sector Representatives; Gregoria P. Realeza, Alumi Regent; and Jericho Asinas, Student Regent.
Blaisdelle C. Regacho, University Board Secretary V, will be serving as the Board Secretary of the LSPU BOR.
