The Laguna State Polytechnic University-Sta Cruz Campus (LSPU-SCC) held a special gathering among its alumni for a Dinner for a Cause at the Multi-Function Hall Gymnasium, April 13.

With the theme “Renewing Friendship, Rekindling the Ka-PIYU Spirit,” the dinner encouraged the gathering of LSPU alumni not only to reminisce and create good memories among former classmates and friends but also to generate proceeds for a construction project.

Specifically, the proceeds of the event will be for the construction of additional restrooms adjacent to the Business Affairs Office (BAO).

Dr. Liza L. Bartolome, Chairperson of Alumni Affairs and Placement Services (AAPS) LSPU-SCC, together with the Alumni Association Officers SY 2023, extended her heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Mario R. Briones, University President; Engr. Manuel Luis R. Alvarez, Campus Director; LSPU-SCC Administration; and the LSPU alumni for their support to the success of the event.

“To our alumni who have been a part of our memorable night’s resounding success, salamat,” Dr. Bartolome said. “You can [be] rest assured that the proceed[s] of this joint hard work will be fulfilled. Salamat to our Ka PIYU-Ka Alumni. Maraming salamat sa ating Sinisintang University.”

Present at the event were Engr. Alvarez, Alumni Faculty, Alumni Association Officers, Alumni College Coordinators, and alumni from different batches.

The said activity was organized by the Alumni Affairs and Placement Services (AAPS), Alumni Association Officers AY 2023 headed by its President, Dr. Mario C. Pasion, and Alumni College Coordinators.
