DBM holds budget hearing for LSPU 2025 proposals

The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) conducts the Technical Budget Hearing for Fiscal Year 2025 with the Laguna State Polytechnic University (LSPU) with Full Time Delivery Unit (FDU) at the University Board Room, LSPU-Siniloan Campus, April 16. 

The Technical Budget Hearing highlights the presentation of the budget and project proposals of LSPU for 2025 funding of the DBM and the recommendations of the DBM to ensure project funding.

Ms. Marie Ammabelle I. Cabildo, Supervising Administrative Officer for Finance, and Engr. Maricel M. Matuto, Planning Officer III, led the presentations of the Technical Budget Hearing of the Tier 2 Proposals. Meanwhile, DBM delegates provided their comments and recommendations regarding the proposals. 

Dr. Mario R. Briones, University President, expressed the commitment of the University to the prudent use of its resources, upholding accountability and transparency. 

“Rest assured that the LSPU will always maintain its commitment to our proposed programs, activities, and project,” President Briones stated. “We will ensure that the tenets of transparency, accountability, and integrity are always upheld.”

Also delivering their messages for the technical budget hearing were Engr. Beltran P. Pedrigal, Vice President for Administration (VPAd) and Officer-in-Charge for the Office of the Campus Director, LSPU-Siniloan Campus; Ms. Nympha R. Manalastas, Regional Director of DBM-Calabarzon; and Dr. Robert C. Agatep, Vice President for Research Development and Extension (VPRDE).

Present in the technical budget hearing were delegates from LSPU and DBM-Calabarzon. 

After the budget hearing, the DBM-FDU conducted an onsite inspection of the implemented LSPU projects.
