The LSPU-LBC through the PPSD Office, invited the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) to conduct both fire and earthquake drills in observance of the Fire Prevention Month, February 26-28.
The theme of this year’s fire prevention is “Ligtas na Pilipinas ating Kamtin, Bawat Pamilya ay Sanayin, Kaalaman sa Sunog ay Palawakin”. Mr. Roderico Ruin, the PPSD chairperson, gathered all the students and faculty of the different colleges to attend the drill and seminar given by the Los Baños Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (MDRRM) officer, Ms. Cynthia Quintans.
On the other hand, the officers of BFP taught the students and faculty the most serious lessons such as the life-saving skill of putting out a fire as seen here in the photos.
