The Laguna State Polytechnic University-Siniloan Campus (LSPU-SC) took a step to boost its training program with the inking of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) and SFM Sales Corporation, held at the MMPC Compound, Santa Rosa City, Laguna, Oct. 17.
The said tripartite agreement aims to notch up training programs design and implementation, especially for automotive students and instructors. Specifically, this included internship programs, faculty training, and vehicle donation from MMPC.
Representing LSPU in the ceremonial signing of MOA were Engr. Beltran P. Pedrigal, Vice President for Administration, on behalf of University President Mario R. Briones; Engr Pedro Urriza, COE A/Dean; and Engr. Leonardo Venancio, On the Job Training Coordinator. Meanwhile, Mr. Junichi Kanashi, MMPC Executive Vice President, and Mr. Eusebio Dy, SFM Sales Corporation President, represented their respective agencies.
A plant tour was conducted for onsite observation at MMPC prior to the formal signing of agreement.
