LSPU received five awards from AACCUP during its 28th Annual National Conference at Manila Hotel on February 1-18, 2015. These included: No.2-Top Ranking SUCs with the Most Number of Programs awarded LEVEL 1 Accredited Status, No. 4- Top 12 Ranking SUCs with the Most Number of Accredited Programs (LEVEL 1-IV), No.4- Top 11 Ranking SUCs with the Most Number of Programs granted Accreditation Status (Candidate & Accredited Programs LEVEL 1-IV), No. 7- No. 10-Top 12 Ranking SUCs with the Most Number of Programs Awarded LEVEL III Reaccredited Status
The Certificates of Recognition were the results of the continuous assurance of the quality of instruction in the institution and were received by Dr. Mario C. Pasion, VP for Academic Affairs on behalf of the LSPU President, Dr. Nestor M. De Vera.
Meanwhile, attendance to similar academic exposures are consistently implemented by the management for updates on current trends and issues like the Regional Seminar focused on CALABARZON-gearing up for ASEAN 2015 and Sustainable Development Goals where globally agreed goals were discussed, updates from CHED relative to ASEAN concerns were once again disseminated by invited resource speakers who are experts in their own right. Similarly, Dr. De Vera was the head of the delegation to the Philippine Science Consortium held at Batanes State Colleges. This significantly contributes to the policies of the university in assuring the quality of its instruction, research, extension, and production.
