2018-2019 AgroStudies Trainees are home;  2019-2020 group, completing OJT

Nineteen AgroStudies student interns, Batch  2018-2019 came back from Agrostudies-Israel  Internship Program, September to October 2019. They successfully completed the one-year Agricultural skills training and technical capability enhancement related to agricultural  research and innovation. The groups were composed of three students from Los Baños Campus, four from Nagcarlan satellite Campus, one from Magdalena, one from Lopez campus, and 10 from Siniloan Campus. The students, together with the ILA Chairperson paid courtesy visit to the Dean of the College and Campus Directors who were all proud of their achievements. Trainees from LSPU Los Banos and Siniloan campuses were given awards for their performance--Marthin Mistica received the Best in Photography award; while, Billy Joe Dacaymat’s research gave him the Best Research title. Relatively, 19 Agriculture students, batch 2019-2020  qualified for the same  international training.

The students completed the requirements of the Student Internship Abroad Program for the participating SUCs through the assistance of the College and International and Local Affairs Office. With their parents, the Dean of the College of Agriculture Dr. Lolita D. Viyar, Program Coordinator of BAT Prof. Jayson Olayta, and the former OSAS Director Mr. Rodolfo B. Valdenarro, batch 2019-2020 conducted a courtesy visit to President Dr. Mario R. Briones  The students were inspired to bring out their best through the encouraging and motivating message from the University President . The internship continues to enhance the agricultural skills of the students specifically, in horticulture, dairy and poultry production, aqua culture.
