LSPU recognized as PRIME-HRM Level 2 in Performance Management

The Laguna State Polytechnic University (LSPU) has been recognized by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Regional Office IV as an agency with Maturity Level 2 in Performance Management under the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) during the PRIME-HRM Regional Recognition Rites at the Queen Margarette Hotel-Main, Lucena City, Quezon, June 20.

PRIME-HRM is a program aimed at enhancing the human resource management capabilities of government agencies, thereby improving their systems and practices to achieve excellence in HR management. Under the program, the CSC evaluates the maturity level of an agency in four HR systems: (1) recruitment, selection, and placement; (2) learning and development; (3) performance management; and (4) rewards and recognition.

In 2023, the LSPU achieved PRIME-HRM Maturity Level 2 for recruitment, selection, and placement. In 2022, the university likewise attained Maturity Level 2 for rewards and recognition.

The recognition rites was part of the 29th Regional Conference of Human Resource Management Practitioners (RCHRMP) with the theme “Navigating the Digital Workplace’ Fostering Leadership, Spirituality, and Sustainability.”

On behalf of University President Mario R. Briones, Vice President for Administration and LSPU Siniloan Campus Director Beltran P. Pedrigal, LSPU Sta. Cruz Campus Director Manuel Luis R. Alvarez, and LSPU Human Resources Management Officers (HRMOs) received the award.

This recognition underscores LSPU’s ongoing commitment to enhancing its human resource interventions, thereby ensuring the delivery of excellent services to its stakeholders. ###
