With the prime objective of providing quality services to the customers/clients in the most effective way, Laguna State Polytechnic University President, Dr. Nestor M. de Vera, composed a committee to commence the long way preparation relative to the university ISO Accreditation.
This is a big leap of the university towards achieving consistent standards of quality in order to obtain recognized standards with respect to its management systems and get at par with other reputable higher education institutions in the country and in the world.
The LSPU ISO committee has calendared initial meetings with identified ISO providers, benchmarking activities with ISO certified universities and industries, and orientation/briefing with the LSPU Administration which started last March 6, 2015, including simultaneous and consecutive on-going ISO activities for the whole month of March.
Benefits that come with ISO includes improvement of management competitiveness, efficiency, consistency, time management, information glow, employee motivation, market potential, accountability and most of all customer service. (fvp)
