Twelve student teachers are bound to Thai Ngu-yen University, Vietnam for student teaching from June to November 2017. This academic partnership is a continu-ous program between LSPU and TNU to provide global teaching experiences to the students and at the same time to be at par with ASEAN integration in the field of educa-tion.
These 12 students are from Laguna State Polytech-nic University-Santa Cruz Campus. They are well-chosen and accordingly evaluated to qualify for Off-Campus Inter-national Student Teaching to be held in Thai Nguyen Uni-versity and partner universities and Learning Centers in the Northern Part of Vietnam.
The qualified students are as follows: CHIARA MAE F. DIZON, DALYN JOY U. DORADO, HANNAH FAITH M. LIM, IVY ROSE P. TANYAG, JACKIE MAR R. DIVINO 1, MANZYEL JOY G. DE LILLA, MARINETH A. CASQUEJO, JOHN STEVEN A. BACUBE, ANGELICA D. GONZAGA, DIANNE CHRISTINE S. PANTE, CASTILLO WINNIE ROSE V., AND ROMINA TARACATAC.
Dr. Nestor M. de Vera, signed the Memorandum of Agreement which is an extension of another five-year partnership in relation to Student-Teaching. The President believes that this program will promote the teaching profession in the Philippine setting in particular, and the Philippine education system in general. The signing of the MoA was held in TNU Vietnam on May 4, 2017.
