The Laguna State Polytechnic University Agri-Aqua Technology Business Incubation (LSPU-AATBI) held an Online Business Plan Writeshop and Consultative Forum with its incubatees on June 11 & 23, 2020. Mr. Jose Alvaro Severino Nito, CEO and founder of BINHI Philippines, helped the incubatees finalized their business plans for technology incubation of the different products of the University and community.
Dr. Corazon San Agustin, Vice President for Research, Development and Extension, imparted a message that emphasized, “ang presensya ng bawat isa ay nangangahulugan na maganda ang ating patutunguhan.” Mr. Nito discussed the importance of a business plan, including topics about marketing, customer relationship, production, and finances by using the submitted business plans of incubatees, which helped everyone visualize the lesson better. He also imparted a short comprehensive lesson on how to make an income statement.
On the Focused Group Forum, the incubatees were grouped according to technologies and products being incubated. Mr. Nito highly suggested to revise the business plans with the new normal in mind and also encouraged incubatees to use the social media as a free and effective marketing tool.
The said webinar was the first of the Multi-Media Learning (MML) Series of AATBI for its incubatees and partners in response to adopt the new normal set-up due to the current pandemic crisis. (ML Barile & JLSanchez).
