LSPU joins provincial security information drive

Taking part in establishing a safe and secure province, the Laguna State Polytechnic University (LSPU) participated in the Security Information and Awareness Drive of the Laguna Police Provincial Office Counter Urban and Rural Operations (LPPO CURAO) Teams held at the Multi-Purpose Hall Municipal Building, Los Banos, Laguna, June 28. 

The gathering aimed at conducting area clearing evaluations of communist terrorist group (CTG) Affected Mass Organizations (CAMOS). It also provided a space for the said organizations to air their concerns and pledge their support to the government. 

The LSPU-Los Banos Campus (LSPU-LBC) has sealed clearance of such threats through a resolution among concerned agencies. 

Eden Joy L. Eugenio, Acting Head of the Security Management Office of LSPU-LBC, represented Atty. Rushid Jay S. Sancon, Campus Director, in the said meeting with Kim Jerrylie T. Gipa, President of the Supreme Student Council.

This LPPO CUARO-led said activity was done in collaboration with the 202 Unifier Brigade; Philippine Army (PA) based in Cavinti, Laguna; Task Force Ugnay, PA based in Camp Gen. Macario Skay, Los Banos, Laguna; and Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB) 4-A.

Also present in the event were COL Ronal Jess S. Alcudia, Deputy Brigade Commander, 202nd BDE, PA;  PLTCOL Arnel L. Pagulayan, Deputy Provincial Director for Operations; and PMAJ Jollymar R. Seloterio, COP, Los Banos MPS.
