Honoring public service: LSPU-LBC parade highlights resilient, future-ready workforce

In a vibrant display of unity and commitment to public service, the employees of Laguna State Polytechnic University-Los Baños Campus (LSPU-LBC) marched through the streets in celebration of the 124th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, Sept 6.

With the theme “Transforming Public Service in the Next Decade: Honing Agile and Future-Ready Servant-Heroes,” the event aimed to express the university’s dedication to and promotion of fostering a resilient and adaptable workforce committed to serving the public in an evolving societal landscape.

The parade kicked off at the LSPU-LBC grounds, taking a route that passed through the Barangay Hall of Barangay Malinta, Los Baños, Laguna before looping back to the campus.

Leading the procession was Alumni Regent Dr. Chester Alexis C. Buama, along with the Unit Heads, Deans, and Associate Deans from various colleges.

Organized by the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) headed by Dr. Imee Priscilla P. Sanchez, the event demonstrated the campus' solidarity and shared commitment to shaping a future-ready public service. ###
