Two hundred fifty-one cadets marched triumphant during the17th Commencement Exercise of the National Service Training Program-Reserve Officers' Training Corps (NSTP-ROTC) Class of 2024 at the Lacson Gymnasium of the Laguna State Polytechnic University-Los Baños Campus (LSPU-LBC), June 14.
The event also coincided with the Closing Ceremony of Cadet Officer Candidate Course (COCC) Class 17-2026 and the Turn-over of Command and Donning of Ranks.
The said activities celebrated the achievements of the graduating cadets with the theme “LSPU Gearing Towards Academic Resiliency through Volunteerism and Patriotism.”
It was graced by Los Baños Municipal Administrator Dr. Roberto F. Rañola, Jr., University President Dr. Mario R. Briones, and LSPU-LBC Campus Director Atty. Rushid Jay S. Sancon.
A total of 13 advanced officer ROTC graduates, nine COCC graduates, and 229 ROTC basic cadet graduates successfully fulfilled their requirements for their respective ROTC courses.
The said activity was led by the LSPU-LBC ROTC unit.###
