LSPU Holds RDE Convocation cum Christmas Party

With the theme “Understanding and Adhering to Sustainable Development Goals,” Laguna State Polytechnic University conducted its University-wide Research Development and Extension (RDE) Convocation cum Christmas Party for the teaching and non-teaching staff, held at Splash Mountain Resort and Hotel, Los Baños, Laguna, December 22.

Hon. Dr. Luis G. Banua, Regional Director of NEDA IV-A and a member of LSPU Board of Regents, shared his insights on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with emphasis on the SDGs roles in attaining the internalization of a state university.

Moreover, Mr. Francisco R. Barquilla III, Senior Science Research Specialist of DOST IV-A, discussed comprehensively on technological interventions in providing a better service to a state university. He provided the LSPU teaching and non-teaching staff adequate information on EXPLORE: Providing Database and Mileage for a University.

Meanwhile, University President, Dr. Nestor M. de Vera delivered his greetings for the yuletide season as the University System Christmas Party started. Prior to the seminar was a thanksgiving mass officiated by Rev. Fr. Zaldy C. Fortuno followed by the choir and dance competitions which highlighted the LSPU President Dr. Nestor M. De Vera and VP Rommel Octavius Nuestro Christmas celebration.
