SIA Mikrotikls is a Latvian company which produces networking equipment and software for data network management purposes, internationally known with Mikrotik RouterOS and RouterBOARD brands (mikrotik.com).
Laguna State Polytechnic University San Pablo Campus together with the College of Engineering is on its way to be recognized as one of the Mikrotik Academies in the Philippines. Their students will have the advantage of having a free certification training of “Mikrotik Certified Network Associate”.
Mikrotik Certified Network Associate (MTCNA) training will provide you with the skills to configure a MikroTik RouterOS Routerboard as a dedicated router, a bandwidth manager, a secure firewall appliance, a simple wireless access point, a VPN Server or Client or an Internet Hotspot concentrator etc. It is a course that covers the basics for those that are new to MikroTik RouterOS (or are struggling to understand it!) and concentrate on the basics of setting up a MikroTik device.
With MTCNA, the student will be familiar with the computer networking skills and will have the ability to configure, manage, do basic troubleshooting of a MikroTik router and provide basic services to clients. Below is the glimpse of the topics to be discussed during the training.
