As part of the semestral activities of Laguna State Polytechnic University, Siniloan Campus opened the celebration of the 64th LSPU Siniloan Foundation Week.
The ROTC unit of LSPU-SC led the entrance of colors after the arrival of the guest speaker, Senator Cynthia Villar. Mercy Grace I. Saliendra led the audience in singing the LSPU Hymn. After Romulo C. Ballesteros, campus director, welcomed the LSPU students to the celebration, Dr. Nestor M. De Vera, university president, gave a message and introduced the guest speaker.
Villar graced the podium and discussed about the matters regarding agriculture. “Dapat nating hikayatin ang mga kabataan to preserve our agriculture”, she quipped. Before Engr. Rommel Octavius R. Nuestro, vice president for research and development, announced the rationale of the foundation week, the LSPU Cultural dance performed two intermission numbers.
The LSPU Faculties who served within 20-35 years in the university were given the service awards. After the faculties received their awards, the booths and exhibits of each college were officially opened. The Supreme Student Council, together with the Office of the Students Affairs and Services, organized the said program
