Dr. Mario R. Briones, University President of the Laguna State Polytechnic University (LSPU), delivered his message of support for the conduct of the Pambansang Samahan ng Inhenyero Mekanikal (PSIM) Mechanical Engineering Students' Conference (MESC) 2023, Sep. 27.
President Briones expressed his congratulations to the PSIM and extended his support for the event with this year’s theme, “PSIM: The Cradle for the Advancement of Mechanical Engineering Profession through Shared Resources and Expertise,” held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC).
President Briones was awarded a plaque for his active engagement and support for the said conference which was received by Engr. Leonardo Venancio of LSPU-Siniloan Campus together with Student Chair Kyla Jane Ferrer (MES Siniloan) and Co-chair Rhey Allen Balaaldia (MES Sta. Cruz).
Meanwhile, LSPU representatives also reaped awards in various competitions of the conference, namely: Champion in the On-the-Spot Poster-making Contest; 1st Place in the Amateur Photography Contest and TransforME-Clash of Bots; and 1st Place and Best Design in Machine Design Competition.
