Laguna State Polytechnic University (LSPU) has drafted the policies and guidelines on student internship program manual.

The initiative to create the student internship/on-the-job (OJT) training manual is a response to the Academe-Industry dialogue during the Regional Development Council (RDC) meeting conducted at the Hotel Marciano, Calamba City, Nov. 4.

The LSPU Student Internship Program Manual is created with observance to the policies and guidelines stipulated in LSPU Student Handbook and CMO 104, s. 2017 otherwise known as “Revised Guidelines for Student Internship Program in the Philippines (SIPP) for All Programs”.

The said manual highlights the aim of the University to establish strong, effective, and efficient partnership with industries, taking into consideration the interest of the students in terms of learning experience through safe work exposure.

The drafting of the manual was initiated by Dr. Eden C. Callo, Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA), and Dr. Edilberto Z. Andal, Associated Dean of the College of Teacher Education (CTE). The draft of the manual was disseminated among the deans and associate deans of the different colleges for additions, suggestions, and recommendations.***
