The idea of co-hosting agreement was conceived in 2016 between the President of Laguna State Poly-technic University, Philippines and Thai Nguyen University, Vietnam. Exchange of ideas, thoughts, and com-munications transpired for several months to comply with the required documents between two universities and to acquire permission from authorities.

LSPU got endorsement from the Commission on Higher Education for submission of papers for presen-tation from faculty researchers as well as attendance, participation of other SUC officials and faculty in the conference.

The partnership agreement aims to: describe the numerous healing systems and their societal rele-vance among the diverse ethnic groups of South-East Asia; analyze their role for the endogenous develop-ment of marginalized areas of South-East Asia; analyze; and understand the global potential of South-East Asia’s Medical Pluralism by bringing together scientists, practitioners, activists, and companies from South-East Asia and beyond. The conference is anchored on the theme: Sustainable Development for Education on Health, Society and Economy.

The day before the conference, the officials, presenters and partici-pants were accommodated at Kim Thai Hotel, one of the finest hotels in the province. The first activity was courtesy call to the President of TNU and TNU Officials. It was followed by the award-ing of plaque to President de Vera for the good partnership of LSPU and TNU and then the signing of MoA for Inter-national Off-Campus Student Teaching.
