The Council of Deans established two institutionally mandated courses across all programs of the Laguna State Polytechnic University (LSPU), Oct. 10.

Headed by Dr. Eden C. Callo, Vice President for Academic Affairs, the deans and associate deans of the 12 colleges of the university proposed the two institutionally mandated course for implementation, namely: LSPU 001: Personality Development and Social Responsibility (PDSR) , and LSPU 002: Intensive English Language Proficiency (IELP).

 LSPU 001 aims to imbibe among the students the core values of the University of Integrity, Professionalism, and Innovation; meanwhile, LSPU 002 aims to further enhance the language competency of the LSPU graduates.

 Apart from the institutionally mandated courses, the Council of Deans also talked about the preparation of documents for the presentation of proposal for the LSPU Academic Board Committee Meeting with the two agenda: LSPU Curriculum Enhancements and MOUs in Vietnam.***
